Centres of Excellence - The Research Council of Norway has initiated a Centres of Excellence scheme, with the intention to bring more Norwegian researchers and research groups up to a high international standard. The centres are devoted to long-term, basic research.

Unifob - Unifob conducts research and associated activities across all the scientific fields covered by the university departments, - usually in collaboration with these departments and always in the form of projects.
