  • Associate professor at the Section for nursing science, Department of public health and primary health care, University of Bergen
  • Part-time Associate professor at Betanien University College of nursing, Bergen
  • Coordinating the international research network "Local knowledge and local water management in the Andes", funded by the Norwegian Research Council, University of Bergen and Trond Mohn since October 2004
