[presentation formats]
ISME 2002 is a conference characterized by many different presentations
formats. You can attend:
| Plenary sessions |

morning music and keynotes presented
to all delegates |
| Session Papers |

|
a paper presentation, ideally in
a dynamic format where presenters avoid reading the paper and
allow time for discussion |
| Interactive workshops |

|
a practical session where participants
are engaged interactively, i.e. in musical activities of some
sort |
| Roundtable Papers |
-
|
five presenters, together with a
number of participants, discuss papers "around a table"
|
| Panel Sessions |
-
|
a panel of speakers, presenting on
a common issue or topic, planned and chaired by a member of
the group having applied for a Panel Session |
| Network Sessions |
-
|
a session that is planned and chaired
by the Network applying for the session |
| Poster sessions |
-
|
a session where a great
number of presenters can exhibit, share and discuss i.e. a project,
research or a demonstration |
Session Papers and Roundtable Papers will be held in English only.
Most Panel Session will be in English, but some may also be in
a Scandinavian language.
Interactive workshops, Network sessions and Poster Sessions may
be in English, Scandinavian or other languages as appropriate.
Abstracts for all sessions and performances must be in English.
Additionally, presenters may give out abstracts in any language
they find appropriate.
