SAMSPEL- together for our musical future!
We invite music educators, performers, researchers, students and
administrators to gather in Bergen, Norway, to address an important
issue by sharing knowledge and experiences together. SAMSPEL is
a Norwegian word for working together in music and in other areas
of human activity.
In a globalized world;
- how do we find ways of interacting and working together across
professions, ideologies, subject areas, borders, cultures, musical
genres and styles?
- what models for international and intercultural cooperation
offer useful ways forward for music educators?
- how do we deal with the different demands of individual identity
and cooperation?
ISME 2002 welcomes participation from all areas of music education
and beyond in the search to find answers to these and similar questions
which will strengthen and promote music education throughout the
world.
