WELCOME On behalf of the Conference Organising Group of SAMSPEL - ISME 2002, it is our pleasure to invite you to attend ISME's 25th world conference in music education. As organisers of SAMSPEL we believe that the new challenges for
music education in this millennium must be met with increased co-operation

Situated in the midst of the famous Norwegian fjords, Bergen is a perfect host city for a world conference in music education, - a conference with a wide variety of exciting musical and educational events.
