Appealing exam results at the Faculty of Law
Local procedures for appealing an exam result.
Appeals against grade decisions are regulated by the Act relating to Universities and University Colleges. The deadline for appealing is three weeks.
As with all other examination results, the outcome of an exam result appeal can be found under ‘Examination results’ in StudentWeb.
Written grounds for the decision in the appeal case are not given at the same time as the result; instead a time when appellants can phone is stated, as with ordinary results. The time for phoning is shown in a separate window in the Faculty of Law’s My Space pages.
The form for appealing is at the bottom of the page, or can be obtained from the Information Centre. The appeal should be handed in to the Information Centre or sent as a letter to the Faculty of Law.
