Student forum
The student forum for the Department of Mathematics is known as Matematisk Fagutvalg. They arrange, among other things, popular science lectures on mathematics, film showings, parties and sports teams.

The Matematisk Falgutvalg also maintains the lounge Pi-happy for students and staff of the Department of Mathematics. This room is located on the 6th floor of the Department of Mathematics (room 601) and contains a bar that is usually open on Thursdays from 19:00-00:00.
The arrangements committee for Pi-happy consists Birgitte Erichsen and webmaster Anders Husebø, in addition to a lovely bunch of math students that arrange different happenings.
