Attending the library course is highly recommended by all our departments, and you will have great use of the things you learn here in your other courses at UiB. The library course is free of charges.

We offer two type of courses, basic library course and advanced library course. Both courses discuss the use of references, citation, and plagiarism in addition to give an introduction to the use of various library resources. Both courses are interdisciplinary and will be given in English.

Please note that the course will be one day only, two hours for the basic course, and three hours for the advanced course.

The courses will be held in the Science Library, Johannes Brungst 12. This is located in the same building as the Department of Mathematics (Carl Godskes Hus). You can find it in the parallel street bellow the Allegaten (the street where the Science Building is located) .
