Funds and legacies

For granting of funds from the faculty’s funds and legacies for 2012, the deadline for applications is 1 December 2011. The final amount available for allocations will be decided by the Fund and Legacy board at the University of Bergen in February 2012. Therefore, there might be adjustments in the estimated amounts below, which is the allocations for 2011.

• Bergen Myrdyrkningsforenings fond (74 000 NOK)
• Hans B. Fasmers fond (88 000 NOK)
• Joachim Frieles legat nr. 1 (14 000 NOK)
• A. Heiberg og H. B. Fasmers fond (29 000 NOK)
• Det alminnelige naturvitenskapelige forskningsfond (110 000 NOK)
• Johan Lothe og hustrus legat (8 000NOK)
• Felles legat til fordel for biologisk forskning (110 000 NOK)

The applications will be assessed by a committee appointed by the The Faculty board. The committee will emphasize a precise project description, the purpose of the application should be obvious, which fund or legacy you primarily apply to, and for which period you are applying. The project must be in accordance with the purpose of the fund/legacy.

The application is to be sent electronically before the 1 December 2011 to: okonomi@mnfa.uib.no. Applications sent elsewhere will not automatically be treated.

The Granting of funds will take place medio April 2012.
