Master student at the Department of Molecular Biology

New Master students must attend a mandatory seminar in the beginning of the semester. The seminar includes:

• Information about the Master's program
• Presentation of research groups and possible master projects
• Health, environment and safety class
• Library class in cooperation with the Science Library

The Department of Molecular Biology offers classes to Master students who have started working with the Master's project and writing the Master's thesis:

• EndNote in cooperation with the Science Library
• How to write a Master's thesis and how to give a presentation, held by prof. Rein Aasland.
