About the Faculty

The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry covers a broad spectrum of research fields in clinical medicine, biomedicine and health sciences, and has established research schools in five of our strongest fields of research. The level of competence in research is high, and research groups have been established in experimental cancer studies, neurosciences, cardiology and sirculation, epidemiology and vitamines, with focus on vitamine B and homocysteine. Highly competent research groups in molecular biology, translational biological and clinical research as well as global health issues, are organised by the faculty.
