4 times annually

The symposia are held four times annually, and the first seminar took place on June 11th 2014. The symposia are well visited, with 40-60 registered attendants at the meetings.

Excellent for networking and updating

This symposium is an arena where PhD candidates and postdocs gain experience with oral presentations and academic discussions, but is also open to other interested students, staff and visitors. The meetings have proved to be an excellent place for young researchers to get input for potential collaborations in ongoing and future projects.

Broad ranging program

The program typically covers a broad range of topics, from basic studies to clinical research, and spiced with an inspirational lecture from a senior researcher. Further, trial lectures are presented, and speakers from research groups outside of CCBIO are also invited to present their projects.

Each symposium has a format where 3-5 PhD candidates and postdocs present their research, followed by short discussions.

You can read more bout the symposia here.
