Hovedinnhold

This time, Associate Professor Monika Kvernenes of the Learning Unit at the Medical Faculty of UiB will give a lecture on the arts and craft of giving a presentation, focusing on presentation techniques and how to convey research results sensibly. Other researchers will discuss their work on preclinical imaging of ovarian cancer models, register data on medications in survivors of adult-onset cancer, use of mass cytometry to measure immune responses to enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli, cell sonoporation, and the N-terminal maturation process of actin.

This is an excellent forum for discussing research, learning about how different and similar many ongoing projects are to your own, and to network with fellow PhD students, post-docs and other colleagues in our research community.

The symposium is open for all and free of charge – including lunch – just remember to register!

Liv Cecilie Vestrheim Thomsen and Erling Høivik are coordinators of the CCBIO Junior Scientist Symposium, and can be contacted if you have any questions.
