Title: Image processing and Yves Meyer

Abstract:  In this talk, we present a kind of historical overview of image processing, especially image processing connected with mathematical partial differential equations and differential geometry. In connection with this review, we will connect some of the developments with the work of Yves Meyer, the Abel prize winner of 2017. The presentation will be given at a level that is suitable for all people with very elementary concepts and models.
