A Norwegian national symbol

Håkonshallen was built 750 years ago as part of King Håkon Håkonsson’s nation building project.

In this video doctor Zoë Opačić of Birkbeck University of London and former director of the British Museum Sir David Wilson give their view on the royal hall and what it meant to for the construction of a Norwegian national identity.
