My PhD is about trophical interaction and benthic pelagic coupling in the deep-sea hydrothermal vents. I will, as a first step, apply molecular methods to investigate the diet of zooplankton like the Hyperiid (Amphipoda) genus Themisto. This study will also investigate and describe the diversity in the surrounding water masses and connect that to stomach analyses.
