My research interest is based on marine ecology with focus on fisheries biology on one side and resource economics on the other, blending together in bioeconomic modelling and direct towards fisheries management. In particular, my current work is centred on how biological factors like size-dependent pricing or fishing-induced evolutionary change may influence strategies to optimize economic rent from fisheries.
