Jill Walker Rettberg er nestleder for SFFen Senter for digitale fortellinger, og leder av prosjektet Machine Vision in Everyday Life: Playful Interactions with Visual Technologies in Digital Art, Games, Narratives and Social Media, som er støttet med €2 millioner av ERC.

Hennes nye bok Machine Vision: How Algorithms are Changing the Way We See the World kommer ut på Polity Press i september 2023.

Rettberg vant Meltzerprisen for fremragende forskningsformidling i 2006.

Jeg har bl.a. undervist i sosiale medier, webdesign, remix-kulturen, datahistorie, elektronisk litteratur, osv.
