Proteinkjemi - evolusjon, struktur, folding og dynamikk relatert til funksjon.
NMR og annen spektroskopi (Fluorescence, CD m.m.). Membran- og overflate relaterte teknikker slik som liposomer, Langmuir, Lanmuir-Blodget, samt Atomic Force Microscopi og Quarts Crystal Microbalance (i samarbeid med NTNU). Computerassistert analyse av eksperimentelle data, for eksempel mulit-dimensjonelle NMR-data og Differential Scanning Calorimetri-data.
