Occupational epidemiology
My special research topic has been neurotoxicology for many years, as my PhD thesis concerned exposure to organic solvents and health effects in the nervous system. Later my interest increased and I have also worked with effects from other neurotoxins. Recently the historical issue on work in dental offices and exposure to metallic mercury and health effects among dental assistants has been of interest.
