•Stable isotopes and other geochemical tools to investigate paleoclimates and ocean history as recorded in deep-sea sediments and accretionary carbonates.• Data-model comparisons of paleoclimate and ocean circulation reconstruction.

• High-resolution climate and seasonality reconstructions from annually banded records, such as bivalves and otoliths.

• Ocean acidification

• Marine micropaleontology and biostratigraphy, with emphasis on the pre-Quaternary period.

• Radiocarbon and U-series chronology.
