To think great thoughts

Posserud revealed that her dream as a little girl never was to be abducted my a knight in shining armour, but to think great thoughts. The dream which did come through was not a straight forward line however. – In the beginning it all felt easy, almost like being a student again, but paid. I soon discovered it was more difficult than I first assumed, with a tough competition and a great pressure on publishing. It was not so easy to be young and promising as I thought.

She has now realized that her doctoral degree has lead to more new questions than answers. But at the same time she has achieved a great independence as a researcher, enabled to analyze and question the research litterature and knowledge, which is always questionable. Rocio Posserud in particular thanked the supervisors for taking her through this academic process of maturation.
