PhD committees
Most faculties have a PhD committee; some PhD committees are part of the Research Board at faculty level, and other faculties have PhD committees at department level.
It is common to all these bodies and PhD committees that they chair and organise doctoral training in the faculties. This body supplements and assists the role of the person in charge in the department/faculty, oversees admission and is responsible for quality assurance of doctoral training.
