Accompanying spouse/partner?
New offer for international researchers: The INN Spouse Club
Many international researchers coming to the University of Bergen to work are accompanied by their families. While the researcher is already a part of the society they are coming to through their new jobs, the spouse may have a harder time finding their own place in this new environment. Now the situation of the spouses may become a little easier through the new INN Spouse Club – a new daytime meeting place.
INNetwork
The University of Bergen have for a few years now offered their employees and partners/spouses the possibility of participating in a social program through membership in the INNetwork. This is part of INN Bergen, the International Network of Bergen, a division of the Bergen Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The INNetwork provides network opportunities to serve the varied needs of both the working expatriates and their accompanying partner or family. INNetwork includes among other things:
- Monthly social gatherings
- Weekend suggestions
- Emergency helpline
- Access to INN counsellors
