 This is a conference for all teachers and administrators in higher education who are concerned with improving students’ writing competence.

Plenary sessions address issues that are of common concern across disciplines:

  • Writing - a key competence from Humboldt to Bologna
  • Feedback
  • Argumentation in academic texts –different disciplinary traditions
  • Deterring plagiarism

Keynote speakers – international top expertise on these topics:

How to systematically and effectively build writing competence in the disciplines will be explored and discussed in three parallel conference sections:

  • Writing in Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Writing in the Natural Sciences
  • Writing in Law
