The Bergen Resource Centre for International Development
The meeting place for researchers, students and the public interested in and working with global challenges. The Resource Centre organises seminars, lectures and debates. It is a joint project of the University of Bergen and the Chr. Michelsen Institute.

The centre houses Norway's largest collection of books and periodicals on Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. The collection covers subjects like development aid, human rights, women in development, poverty, peace and violence etc. It includes the Centre for Middle East Studies' book collection and Mahmoud Salih's unique Sudan collection.
The Resource Centre is a national resource and documentation centre collecting and disseminating information on research results.
