Faculty Research Schools
Research at the faculty is organized in research groups and research schools led by outstanding researchers. The faculty has three research schools. The faculty also participates in the Research School in International Health at the University of Bergen, as well as the national graduate schools NATED (National Graduate School in Educational Research) and NAFOL (Norwegian National Post Graduate School in Teacher Education).

Doctoral education at the Faculty of Psychology
The Faculty of Psychology offers doctoral education (PhD). The opportunity also exists to defend a dr.philos. (doctor philosophiae) at the faculty.

Integrated Clinical Specialist and PhD-training
The National Program for Integrated Clinical Specialist and PhD-training for Psychologists is a national recruitment program for positions which requires dual competence in psychology. Dual competence means the achivement of both documented research competence (PhD-degree) and (clinical) specialist competence (approved by The Norwegian Psychological Association, NPF).
