Centres for Research-based Innovation
The Centres for Research-based Innovation (CRI) scheme was established by the Research Council of Norway in 2006.
The CRI scheme will:
• Promote innovation by supporting long-term research through close alliances between research-active companies, public organizations and leading research groups.
• Develop expertise that sustains high international standards in fields that are important for innovation and value creation.
• Enhance technology transfer, internationalisation and researcher training.
Together with CMR, UiB is the host institution for one CRI.
