Innovation and commercialisation

In order to make an idea or a research result into a product in the marketplace, a lot has to be accomplished. All ideas have to be tested, discussed and evaluated by experts with regards to juridical, financial and commercial affairs. Bergen Teknologioverføring AS (the Technology Transfer Office for the Bergen region), Innovest  and The Sarsia funds provide financial support to further development of ideas and results.

    Innovest AS is a "not for profit" shareholding company, equally owned by the Helse Bergen HF and Uni Research (University of Bergen). Innovest was established in 1997, and organised as a shareholding company in 2001.
