Academy Members association in Bergen (AKAB)
AKAB is an association of academy members related to Bergen, belonging to the Academia Europaea (the Academy of Europe), the Norwegian Academy of Sciences and Letters, and the Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences.
AKAB focuses on mutual information about scientific and academic activities, on efforts to form joint opinion on questions of societal interest and on joint actions. AKAB also has an energy working group.
AKAB's activity is managed via UiB's Department of Research Management.
