Fishing trip with guide

In cooperation with the INN Club, SIM invites international researchers (employees and guests at UiB) and their family members for a boat trip with MF Levang on the fjords outside Bergen. Fishing has always been an important part of the lives of the people who live around Bergen, so we wanted to give you a chance to experience fishing yourself.

A fishing trip is much more than just the fishing part; you get fresh air (rain?) and there is plenty of nice scenery. On board we have an English speaking guide who can tell you about the area we can see from the boat. We offer some light refreshments for the participants on this trip.

We take care of all the practical things – you just need to register, be there in time, and dress according to weather (NB: it is usually more windy /cold out on the sea than on land). For children – you may want to bring their own safety vest. And if you have your own fishing gear – feel free to bring it if you want.

When: Wednesday 21.of August – at 17:15 – the boat will return to the same place at 20:30.

Where: Dreggen Pier, almost directly in front of Bryggen Raddison Hotel and Clarion Hotel Havnekontoret.
