Tuberculosis examination is mandatory for some groups of immigrants to Norway.
Mandatory Tuberculosis Test
Norwegian law requires that all foreign nationals who will be residing in Norway more than three months must have a chest X-ray and a tuberculin sample taken within two weeks after arrival. This is a must for all, except for researchers from Western Europe, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
The examination is done at Smittevernkontoret

To make an appointment in advance, call 55 56 58 80, between 12:30 - 14, Monday to Thursday.
Remember to bring your passport. You will receive documentation when you have had your check-up.
