The aim of the group is to be a forum for bringing together PhD candidates, teaching assistants and members of the academic staff at the department who have a background in analytic philosophy.
Our meetings are meant primarily to be a forum in which individual members, or several within the same field of specialization, can present papers or projects. The photograph shows Bertrand Russell.
The group is headed by Professor Erik Brown, erik.brown@fof.uib.no.
The first seminar of the group in 2013 will be held Friday 15 March at 2.15-4 p.m. in room 218 in Sydnesplassen 12/13. Associate Professor Gunnar Karlsen will present his work-in-progress paper 'Factorizing Experience', in the field of philosophy of mind. The talk will be in English.
