Doctor Zimmermann, I presume?
Fabian was awarded PhD degree after a lively debate with the opponents. EvoFish congratulates!
The opponents, prof. Veijo Kaitala (University of Helsinki) and prof. Claire Armstrong (University of Tromsø) praised Fabian for his thesis bridging fisheries biology and fisheries economics, but they also made Fabian sweat at times. However, in the end, it was Fabian who had the last word. And the conclusion is? Well, size matters in fish biology and fisheries economics.
