Master's Students
The Fisheries Ecology and Aquaculture research group encompasses a number of master's students from a wide range of master's programmes.
Students work on a variety of projects within different disciplines related to fisheries ecology and/or aquaculture.

Christian Irgens - Marine Biology
Christian is working on his Masters in Marine Biology and study otolith growth and formation in relation to the settling dynamics of juvenile Northeast Arctic cod (Gadus morhua).

Malebo Hellen Moepi - Aquaculture Biology
Malebo is studying for her Masters in Aquaculture Biology. Originally from South Africa, she started at the University of Bergen in Autumn 2008.

Sofia Ferreira - Fisheries Biology and Management
Sofia is working on her Masters in Fisheries Biology and Management, and is writing a thesis entitled "Vertical migration of the Norwegian spring-spawning herring larvae (Clupea harengus L.)"

Magnhild is working on her Masters in Aquaculture Biology. She is studying conditioning of the European flat oyster, Ostrea edulis.
