Facilities


Research activities in the Geodynamics Group are largely based on technical instrumentation and infrastructure available at the Department of Earth Science.

These are:

  • Norwegian National Seismic Network
  • Geochemical Laboratories
  • Mineral separation facilities (Crushing lab, magnetic and heavy liquid separation labs) 
  • Fission Track Analysis Lab
  • Marine Geological and Geophysical Instruments including the Research Vessels (Håkon Mosby and GeoSars), ROV, Seismic instrumentation, OBS´s etc.
