Master in Public Policy and Governance (MPPG)
The project is financed by The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD), and moreover their program for masterstudies (NOMA). Further, the project is administered by The Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Higher Education (SIU).
The MPPG Program aims at providing high quality research based education in public administration and policy. Students are expected to be able to analyze and
understand complex issues of public policy and administration by means of organization theory and theories of public policy. It focuses on current, appropriate, and cutting-edge topics of public policy analysis, new modes of governance including New Public Management, eGovernance, administrative reforms, globalization, corruption, environment policy and sustainable development as well as local governance in the South-Asian and international settings.
