Manned spaceflight Cultural Determinants of Performance and Error Management in Multinational Space Missions:

This project, sponsored by the European Space Agency (ESA), is undertaken among resident crews at the International Space Station.

Today's space operations represent multi-national efforts that involve close co-working and co-living of people with different ethnical, professional and organizational backgrounds.

The project aims to investigate the implications of cultural and individual differences in values for efficient crew interaction to provide knowledge that may assist in training for multinational missions to prevent human factor problems.

The project is undertaken in collaboration with the Institute of Biomedical Problems (IBMP) in Moscow Russia.
