This is an overview of our ongoing research projects.
Welcome to the Section for Thoracic Medicine
For over 20 years, the department has been leading in the field of Respiratory Epidemiology,
building on a solid foundation of population-based data sets including more than 40,000 individuals
from the Hordaland County. The clinical department provides state of the art, tertiary-level diagnosis
and therapy to approximately 500,000 inhabitants in the region of western Norway.
