Research School
The main aims of the PhD Research School at the Faculty of Arts, University of Bergen, are to increase the quality of the PhD program and the PhD candidates’ education, provide an academic and social meeting place for its candidates, and improve the completion rate of the Faculty’s PhD program.
The Research School started operating in October 2004 and offers a program based on a flexible yearly cycle.
The Research School is intended for the PhD candidates in linguistics and philology at the University of Bergen, but welcomes PhD candidates from other institutions as well.
