It is our pleasure to announce that Margrete Dyvik Cardona’s PhD thesis has been accepted for defence. The defence consists of two parts — the trial lecture and the oral defence.

Time: Friday 19 February, 09.30– approx. 13.00

Title of the thesis:
Time for Change. A theory-driven, corpus-based study of tense and aspect in La Paz Spanish.
Opponents:
First opponent: Prof. Dr. Ignacio Bosque, Universidad Complutense, Madrid
Second opponent: Prof. Dr. Östen Dahl, Stockholm University
The committee is headed by Associate professor Åse Johnsen, Department of Foreign Languages, University of Bergen.
The defence will be chaired by Assistant professor Jon Askeland, Department of Foreign Languages, University of Bergen.
