Doctoral defence for Nazareth Amlesom Kifle

We are happy to inform that Nazareth Amlesom Kifle’s PhD thesis has been accepted for defence. The defence consists of two parts — trial lecture and oral defence.

Time: Friday 20 January, 09.30–approx. 13.00
Place: Auditorium A, Sydneshaugen skole
Title of the thesis: "Tigrinya applicatives in Lexical-Functional Grammar"
Opponents:
First opponent: Professor Mary Dalrymple, University of Oxford.
Second opponent: Professor Louisa Sadler, University of Essex.
The committee is headed by associate professor Torodd Kinn, Department of Linguistic, Literary and Aesthetic studies, University of Bergen.
The defence will be chaired by professor Johan Myking, Department of Linguistic, Literary and Aesthetic studies, University of Bergen.
