MCB Travel Fellowships
MCB offer travel fellowships of up to 7500 NOK to MCB members for participation in an international conference or course. Deadline 2011: 15 April
What we grant:
Travel grants of up to 7.500 NOK. For candidates serving on the MCB board, up to 10.000 NOK can be granted.
It is possible to receive grants more than once, but with an upward limit of 15.000 NOK. For candidates serving on the MCB board the upward limit is 20.000 NOK.
All members of MCB are eligible for the fellowships, that is you should have completed the MCB introductory course. Participants on the ongoing MCB introductory course may also apply.
The fellowships can be used to cover costs in relation to participation at international conferences, workshops, courses etc.

How to apply
The application can be sent by e-mail to: contact@mbi.uib.no
Please keep it short (1 page max), and include:
- your name
- which department/unit you are affiliated with
- some short information on the conference/workshop you plan to attend
- your motivation for attending
- whether or not you plan to present own results (poster or talk)
- a simple budget
- which MCB-activities you have participated/are participating in

Priority
If competition for fellowships, applications will be ranked based on the following criteria:
- MCB track record (previous participation in MCB activities)
- People contributing actively with posters, talks or other will have prority
