Opening of the Mahmoud Salih Library.

The Centre (SMI) moved to a new building in September together with CMI and UNIFOB Global. Adjacent to the lobby there are now the libraries of CMI, SMI and Mahmoud Salih that form the core of the new Bergen Resource Centre for International Development. The Resource Centre was formally opened in the week starting on November 12 and on the 14th the library of Mahmoud Salih was formally opened. Part of this library is now digitized and accessible on the net (https://digitalt.uib.no/handle/1956/1 <file://localhost/handle/1956/1> ). On that occasion Mahmoud Salih received a “Festschrift” from his friends in Bergen, as a symbol of gratitude, and as a gift on his 70th  birthday. (Connecting South and North.
