About the Library
The University Library is a public research library, under the orders of the University Board and the University Director. The main task of the library is to deliver information and documentation services for research, teaching and dissemination at the University of Bergen. But the library also serves other institutions and users, collaborating with partners both locally, nationally, and internationally. The library is open to the general public.

Sørviserklæringa for Universitetet i Bergen er eit oversyn over tilbod, tenester og hjelp som universitetet forpliktar seg til å gi ein student, og kva universitetet forventar seg av studenten med omsyn til studieåtferd og innsats.
