Course information
Content and aims
During the course students learn to manage a number of natural resources: water reservoirs, fisheries, forests, animal herds, and climate, and they learn to operate in product and quota markets. A particular focus is on complicated dynamics, which historically have led to misperceptions and mismanagement.
Language
The course is taught in English and utilizes Internet based interactive distance learning with on-line tasks and immediate answers, videos, analogies, animations, simulators, simulation models, games, and discussions. After passing the exam, simulation models and selected animations and simulators are made available for the students for personal use or for use in own teaching.
Tuition
There is no tuition fee.
