Kven kan søke

Studentar på masterstudiet i rettsvitskap som på tidspunkt for utreise har fullført alle emna i studieprogrammet til og med 3. studieår. For å kvalifisere til studier og praksis i Kina må ein ha eit karaktersnitt på C.

Når i studiet kan eg reise

I Master i rettsvitskap-studiet kan du reise på utveksling på femte studieår. Under utanlandsopphaldet fullfører du spesialemna dine, og i nokre tilfelle også masteroppgåva. Du vel sjølv kva rekkefølge du vil ta fjerde og femte studieår. Du kan dermed reise ut i verda allereie etter at du har fullført tredje studieår. I nokre utvekslingsavtaler er det likevel krav om at du må ha fullført fjerde studieår for å kunne få opptak. Under overskrifta "kven kan søke" finn du informasjon om korvidt du må vere ferdig med fjerde studieår før utreise.

Språk

For studentar som skal delta på semesterpakken med studier og praksis er det obligatorisk å delta på eit førebuande kurs i kinesisk språk og kultur som vert undervist i Bergen i løpet av fem veker frå januar til medio februar, 10-12 timar pr. veke. Kurset vert avslutta med ein eksamen (HSK-test) i midten av februar. Ein må ta eksamen, men resultatet har ikkje innverknad på korvidt ein kan utveksle til Kina eller ikkje.

På alle universiteta som er aktuelle å studere ved er det til vanleg kinesisk som er undervisningsspråket. Men begge universiteta har kurs som blir underviste på engelsk, slik at for å delta på semesterpakken treng du ikkje å kunne meir kinesisk enn det du tileignar deg gjennom det førebuande kurset før avreise.

Kva emne kan eg ta

Semesterpakken i kinesisk rett utgjer 30 studiepoeng og vert godskrive som spesialemna i mastergraden i rettsvitskap. Semesterpakken vert tilbydd i vårsemesteret.

Før avreise skal du delta på eit førebuande kurs i kinesisk språk og kultur (sjå meir under overskrifta Språk). Under opphaldet i Kina skal du studere juridiske emne ved eit av fakultetet sine samarbeidsuniversitet i Shanghai eller Beijing. Emna du tek på universitetet skal tilsvare 20 studiepoeng. Samstundes skal du ha relevant praksis i til saman 5 veker hos ein norsk eller utanlandsk bedrift, institusjon eller organisasjon med verksemd og kontor i Kina. Praksisen vil normalt føregå ein til to dagar i veka gjennom store deler av vårsemesteret.

Du skal skrive ein praksisrapport som vert vurdert av fakultetet i etterkant av utvekslingsopphaldet. Ved godkjend praksisrapport vil ein oppnå 10 studiepoeng. Den samla arbeidsmengda for studier og praksis skal utgjere 30 studiepoeng.

Det er ein føresetnad at emna du vel ikkje overlappar innhaldsmessig med emne du har teke tidlegare, eller planlegg å ta seinare ved UiB.

Studieavgift

Studentar som reiser gjennom på denne semesterpakken betaler ikkje skolepengar eller studieavgift ved vertsuniversitetet, men skal registrere seg og betale semesteravgift ved UiB for heile den tida dei er ute.
