Welcome to the last CCBIO Junior Scientist Symposium of the spring term 2023! Lunch is included, just remember to register.

Hovedinnhold

Dear all

We are happy to welcome you all to the upcoming CCBIO Junior Scientist Symposium, June 8th, 2023. This seminar series is a perfect place to meet and interact with other young scientists. We anticipate lively and interesting discussion also this time. We are looking forward to the keynote lecture by CCBIO researcher Dimitrios Kleftogiannis, who will try dispelling common myths about bioinformatics, discuss the evolving demands of modern cancer research, and point out challenges and opportunities in bridging the gap between computational analysis and practical implementation. The program spans over several other exiting topics including the potential role of novel PDGFRB gene variant in occurrence of corneal neovascularisation, establishment and imaging of AML patient-derived xenografts, and detection of structural variants in cancer. Please register within June 5th at 11.00

Registration form: Please use this link.

Place: Rom B302, Sentralblokka, Haukeland University Hospital

The CCBIO Junior Scientist Symposium represents an integrated part of the CCBIO Research School for Cancer Studies. This is a seminar series that aims to improve scientific interaction and networking among junior researchers.

Mari Kyllesø Halle and Vladan Milosevic are coordinators of the junior seminars from the fall term of 2022, and are planning and chairing these meetings. Any questions can be addressed to them.
