«Social networks are inhabited by profiles. Profiles are not real people: there's always a gap between the profile and life. In my talk, I will not portray major fraudsters or minor cheaters. I will focus on profiles who present themselves as literary narratives or can be read as such. I'll show where, in my opinion, their literarity lies.»

Alexandra Saemmer er professor i informasjons- og kommunikasjonsviteksap ved CEMTI-laboratoriet ved Universitetet i Paris 8, Frankrike. Forskinga hennar fokuserar på sosio-semiotikk i kulturproduksjon (tekst, bileter, video, nettsider, plattformar), og digital kultur. Ho er også ein forfattar av digitallitteratur.
