New course : AORG324 Comparative Public Administration

Have you ever wondered why and how the public administration varies across countries? How is the public administration organized in e.g. Germany versus Norway? Is it any different from the United Kingdom?

If these are questions you find interesting, this is the course for you! 

AORG324 will look at these points as well as give you an understanding of historical traditions, structural constraints and discuss the importance of deliberate choice. 

This course will give you the ability to understand and demonstrate knowlegde and critically discuss public administration in European Countries.

The course convener is Julia Fleischer, who conducts research in Comparative Public Administration on various topics, inter alia on administrative structures and processes, reforms, and top officials.

 

Who can attend this course?

Master students and advanced bachelor/undergraduate students (preferably third year) with a relevant background in political science.
